Job DescriptionThe Oracle Cloud HCM Assessment Consultant is essential to sustaining growth and enabling the Eurofins organization to operate efficiently. We are seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud HCM Consultant to conduct a comprehensive health check and system assessment of our Oracle HCM Cloud environment. This short-term assignment will evaluate the effectiveness, configuration, compliance, and optimization opportunities across all HCM modules, with a strong focus on Payroll and Benefits.
Reporting to the VP of HR, this position will be expected to deliver a comprehensive health check report along with key findings and actionable recommendations to improve user experience, compliance, and overall operational effectiveness of our Oracle Cloud HCM system. Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesSupport HCM cloud activities across the project lifecyclePerform a holistic review of the Oracle Cloud HCM system, including Core HR, Payroll (primary focus), Benefits (primary focus), Time & Labor, Absence Management, and SecurityEvaluate system configuration against Oracle leading practices and industry benchmarksAssess payroll and benefits workflows within the HCM system by analyzing processes and known bugs, with the goal of identifying opportunities for improved accuracy, compliance, and efficiencyAssist in maintaining stakeholder alignment and engagement for HCM-related initiativesPartner with departments across the organization to identify pain points and implement process improvements, system enhancements, and efficiencies within the HCM platformConduct detailed assessments of Payroll configuration, processing, and controls, earnings, deductions, tax setup, and complianceReview payroll reconciliation processes and audit controlsConduct detailed assessment of Benefits plan design, eligibility rules, enrollment processes, and numerous integrationsAssess benefits administration accuracy and integration with payrollIdentify risks, inefficiencies, and overall gaps between system capabilities and business requirementsEvaluate automation opportunities to remove or limit manual workaroundsAssess data integrity, reporting capabilities, and data governance practicesReview inbound/outbound integrations (e.g., vendors, GL, benefits carriers)Evaluate system performance and data flowsAssess use of Fast Formulas, HDL, HCM Extracts, and reporting toolsAnalyze metrics and reporting to support process improvement and system optimizationConduct interviews/workshops with HR, Payroll, Benefits, and IT stakeholdersGather feedback on system usability and pain pointsProvide subject-matter expertise and guidance on best practicesQualificationsBasic Minimum Qualifications (BMQ):
Minimum of ten years of experience working directly with Oracle Cloud HCMExperience supporting HCM or HR-related projects with strong hands-on expertise in Payroll and BenefitsProven experience conducting system assessments, audits, or health checksExperience with full HCM lifecycle implementations and/or post-go-live optimizationAbility to maintain confidentialityAuthorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorshipEducation/Experience (BMQ):
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Human Resources, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)Master's degree preferredOracle Cloud certifications (HCM, Payroll, Benefits)Experience in multi-state or complex payroll environmentsPrior consulting experience with system optimization engagements
Skills:
Strong knowledge of Payroll processing, tax configuration, compliance requirements, and Benefits configuration including life event processing and integrationsFamiliarity with Fast Formulas, HCM Extracts, OTBI, BI reporting, and HDL (HCM Data Loader)Experience reviewing integrations and third-party vendor connectionsAbility to handle sensitive and confidential informationExcellent stakeholder engagement and facilitation skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsExperience presenting findings to senior leadershipAdditional InformationThe position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.- 5 p.m., with overtime as needed.
