Data Steward - II (Associate)#26-23462 North Wales, PA Onsite Job Description Business Intelligence & Data Analytics Specialist Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Analytics, Engineering, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in business analysis, project management, or systems implementation. Strong conceptual understanding of procurement operations Proficiency with PowerBI, including building, testing, and modifying dashboard reports. Experience working with Databricks and SQL, specifically writing basic queries and managing table schemas. Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, Power Query) with a proven ability to structure, clean, and analyze massive datasets. Excellent communication and technical writing skills, with the ability to translate complex data structures into clean business documentation. Understanding of modern AI capabilities and productivity tools, including prompt engineering (e.g., Microsoft Co-Pilot, Gemini) to optimize analytical workflows, automate routine documentation, and drive efficiency.

Business Intelligence & Data Analytics Specialist:
Business intelligence and reporting: Strong Power BI experience, including building, testing, and modifying dashboard reports. Procurement analytics: Ability to conduct spend analysis, price analysis, volume vs. price analysis, and specialized data deep-dives. Data governance: Experience building data dictionaries, documenting data assets, and creating a reliable "source of truth."
Databricks and SQL:
Working knowledge of Databricks, table schemas, schema updates, column auditing, and basic SQL queries. Data cleansing and standardization: Ability to clean supplier/spend data and standardize taxonomies and categories.
Advanced Excel:
Strong skills in VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, Power Query, and handling large datasets. Procurement operations knowledge: Conceptual understanding of procurement processes and category management support. Communication and documentation: Ability to translate complex data structures into clear business documentation. AI/productivity tools: Familiarity with tools like Microsoft Copilot or Gemini and prompt engineering to improve workflow efficiency. Experience level: Bachelor's degree plus 3+ years of experience in business analysis, project management, systems implementation, or related analytics work. Position Summary We are seeking a temporary Business Intelligence & Data Analyst Specialist to support core supplier data execution, high-impact procurement analytics, and data integrity initiatives within the Animal Health Global Supplier Management (AH-GSM) division. This individual will focus on assisting on delivering high-impact "quick wins"—such as managing spend/price analysis, volume vs price developments, and other advanced analytics—while simultaneously maintaining strong data governance by managing Databricks schemas, building data dictionaries, and standardizing data categories as we transition our data infrastructure. Key Responsibilities Perform quick-win financial and procurement analyses Support specialized data deep-dives in support of enabling category leads with data actions and insights. Build and maintain a comprehensive data dictionary for AH-GSM's data assets to establish a unified and documented "source of truth." Manage live Databricks schema and model updates, including renaming, aligning, and auditing column names post-go-live.
