Project Opportunities:
Product Catalogue Creation:
creating a sophisticated system that enables Experitec employees to select product characteristics, which then automatically determines the final product. This initiative encompasses several key phases: setting up the system for end users, executing the implementation, and training. The process involves comprehensive data collection, seamless implementation, and efficient deployment.
Automated Quote Implementation:
collaborating with cross-functional departments to understand their needs for automated vs. manual quote follow-up. Tracking and implementing processes. Helping to frame the design by gathering requirements and working closely with the development team to build the automation.
AI & Automation Exploration:
partnering with the Digital Transformation team to identify, evaluate, and pilot AI-assisted workflows — including Microsoft Copilot integration with IFS, automated reporting, and intelligent process automation. The exact solution mix will be shaped together as we learn what creates the most value. What does the Business Analyst do? In this position you will be: Trusted team member who gains the confidence of colleagues across our entire organization. Working collaboratively with every department to understand their unique challenges, document their processes, and support the design of solutions that align with long-term organizational and customer goals. Utilizing your communication skills and ability to build trust. Collaborating with functional leaders to identify opportunities for improvement that can deliver measurable business outcomes. Utilizing IFS experience to drive optimizations by integrating functionalities. Documenting and communicating development requirements (including lobbies, page design, custom fields, and automations) to the technical team. Collaborating with functional leaders to test solutions and identify design adjustments. Deploying solutions across the organization and monitoring outcomes to confirm business results. Establishing project timelines and detailing key milestones and tasks to achieve objectives. Maintaining project progress by efficiently managing tasks. Supporting training efforts and the creation of training documentation. Providing assistance to end users regarding business processes and IFS-related inquiries. Experitec is on the cutting edge, leveraging nearly 85% of all IFS ERP Modules. What You Will Contribute:
Supporting the translation of business needs into clear, actionable IT deliverables using our tools and technologies (i.e. IFS, Microsoft, Docboss, etc.) Collaborating with all internal business units to document and implement solutions within our Digital Transformation initiative. Creating comprehensive functional requirements and business process documentation using advanced MS Office tools. Identifying and documenting process improvement opportunities that drive efficiency and productivity. Helping define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project success and organizational impact. Supporting change management efforts by preparing teams for upcoming changes and communicating positive organizational benefits. Exploring AI-powered tools, including Microsoft Copilot, to enhance how we work in IFS and across the business. Helping evaluate and pilot emerging business technology as our digital transformation evolves. Assisting in designing and executing testing protocols using Agile methodology to validate new systems and processes. Analyzing large datasets using advanced Excel functions to uncover insights and support decision-making. Contributing to training materials and operational procedures that increase efficiency across the organization. This position is part of our IT team within Information Systems with the specific title of Business Analyst I.

Required Skills, Experience & Abilities:
Bachelor's degree OR associate's degree with two or more years of relevant experience OR high school diploma with four or more years of relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience. Two or more years of experience in a technical or business analyst support role OR five or more years of experience in cross-function business operations and/or super user role. Exposure to project coordination or willingness to develop project coordination skills. Hands-on experience with IFS in one or more functional areas (CRM, order management, manufacturing, inventory, service management, project management, finance, or HR). Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel (VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, or XLOOKUP), Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Teams, and Outlook. Ability to work a hybrid schedule at one of our three major office locations (Lenexa, KS, Chesterfield, MO, or Bartlett, TN). Ability to work Monday through Friday from 8am-5pm in the office three days per week and work remotely two days per week. The first 6-12 months will be five days in the office per week for training purposes. Ability to effectively communicate (written and verbal) with internal customers and co-workers. Ability to proactively identify business needs, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues through creative problem solving. Commitment to improving work performance through expanding professional knowledge and growing work experience. Ability to excel in a collaborative environment, demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills, actively contribute to team efforts, and foster a cooperative atmosphere. Ability to consistently demonstrate initiative and commitment to achieving excellence, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement, and taking decisive action to drive results. Ability to lift and move up to 30lbs. Ability to drive for the company with a valid driver's license and the ability to pass driving record background check. Ability to utilize personal vehicle for some work travel AND the ability to rent a car when requested. Ability to independently travel domestically to other office locations up to 10% of the time including overnights for training as needed.
Preferred Skills, Experience & Abilities:
Bachelor's degree in IT, Finance, Engineering or similar discipline. Five or more years of experience in a similar position. Three or more years of experience with ERP systems. Five or more years of experience working with cross-functional teams. Two or more years of experience with Agile methodology. Two or more years of experience in IFS Cloud in an industrial or manufacturing environment. Possess comprehensive knowledge across four or more of these key areas of
IFS:
CRM, order management, inventory, service management, project management, finance, and/or HR functionalities. Three or more years of Project Coordination and/or Project Management experience including implementation, change management, customization, analysis, reporting, stakeholder engagement, risk management, and/or resource management. Experience using platforms based on Oracle. Experience supporting multi-site and/or multi-state workforces. Curiosity and exposure to AI tools (Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, etc.) and the Microsoft Power Platform. Familiarity with Experitec's current IFS environment and business processes.
