Position Purpose The Director, Enterprise Business Systems provides leadership and direction to a team of software engineers responsible for the implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of Dartmouth's Oracle EBusiness Suite (EBS) platform and the portfolio of thirdparty applications integrated within that environment. This role serves as the primary technical advisor for the Oracle EBS ecosystem and will play a central planning and advisory role in the institution's transition to a nextgeneration Finance and HR system over the coming years. The Director partners closely with the Associate Vice President of Enterprise Systems Group and institutional stakeholders to ensure that business systems effectively support administrative operations, that vendor relationships are actively managed, and that the team is wellpositioned to support both current operational needs and future transformation initiatives. Required Qualifications Skills, Knowledge and Abilities Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
6 or more years of experience in a technologist or systems analyst role within complex organizations, with demonstrated focus on enterprise business systems or ERP platforms.
Minimum 2-3 years of leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience in an IT or systems environment.
Demonstrated experience working with Oracle EBusiness Suite or comparable ERP platforms, with knowledge of Finance, Human Resources, or Procurement functional areas.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with strong organizational and prioritization skills.
Experience in business process analysis and review, with the ability to translate operational requirements into technical solutions.
Working knowledge of application integration techniques and thirdparty vendor management practices.
Familiarity with change management principles and their application to technologydriven organizational transitions.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to work effectively with both technical teams and nontechnical business stakeholders.

Ability to thrive in a collaborative, mentorsupported environment and demonstrate readiness to grow into increasing levels of leadership responsibility. Preferred Qualifications Experience in higher education IT or similarly complex, missiondriven institutional environments.
Familiarity with Oracle Cloud, Workday, or other nextgeneration Finance and HR platforms, with interest in supporting an enterprise system transition.
Experience supporting or leading an ERP implementation, upgrade, or major migration project.
Knowledge of data integration tools, middleware platforms, or API management in an ERP context.
