Epicor Kinetic Implementation Lead We are seeking an entrepreneurial, strategic engineer to own the end-to-end implementation of Epicor Kinetic. This is a high-visibility, "player-coach" role where you will work side-by-side with senior executives daily. You won't just maintain a system. You will architect an agile, secure operational blueprint. You will take total ownership of security architecture, cross-functional modules, and advanced reporting infrastructure. This is a pivotal infrastructure launch at a high-growth aerospace and defense manufacturer. Frequent onsite collaboration at our Indiana facility is required during the first year. This stabilizes into a balanced 50/50 hybrid model as systems mature and move into multi-site operations.
Key Responsibilities Implementation:
Command the end-to-end scoping, data migration, configuration, and deployment of Epicor Kinetic from scratch.
Executive Advisory:
Partner daily with C-suite executives to translate aggressive business goals and modular scaling milestones into real-time ERP architecture.
Advanced Compliance & Security Automation:
Integrate and optimize our cybersecurity compliance extension to manage Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), First Article Inspection (FAI) tracking, and continuous audit readiness.
Cross-Functional Blueprinting:
Map and configure core modules spanning Operations (MRP, MES, Advanced Scheduling, Inventory) and Finance (General Ledger, AP/AR, Cost Accounting).
BI & Data Visibility:
Build mission-critical Business Activity Queries (BAQs), Business Process Methods (BPMs), custom dashboards, and SSRS reports to give leadership instant, data-driven insights.
Required Qualifications Epicor Expertise:
5+ years of hands-on experience with Epicor ERP, including recent deployment or heavy operational optimization using Epicor Kinetic.
Startup-Mindset Technical Mastery:
Proven track record in resource-constrained, fast-growing environments. You must provide real-world examples of building robust BAQs, BPMs, and custom dashboards from scratch, and of adapting system architecture on the fly to support rapid manufacturing scale.
Aerospace & Defense Compliance:
Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks and of configuring ERP environments to enforce
ITAR, CMMC
L2, AS9100D, and NADCAP standards.
Continuous Audit Readiness:
Experience configuring systems and maintaining data tracking to pass recurring aerospace and defense compliance audits, alongside DCAA and DCMA requirements.
Financial & Operational Fluency:
Strong grasp of aerospace manufacturing finance (cost accounting, project billing) and shop floor operations.
Location & Travel:
Ability to work onsite in Indiana frequently during Year 1 (up to 3-4 days a week during critical launch phases), stabilizing into a structured 50/50 hybrid schedule.
Citizenship:
Due to ITAR and defense contracting regulations, US citizenship is required.

Professional references detailing past implementation success are required.
Preferred Experience Scalable Kinetic Experience:
Prior experience with Epicor Kinetic in the aerospace and defense sector through phases of modular growth, from early-stage company to multi-site operations.
