Join the Lockheed Martin Production Operations One Lockheed Martin Transformation (1LMX) Plan to Stock (PTS) Information Technology (IT) team as an IT Business Analyst (ITBA) supporting Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Shop Floor Integration (SFI / Apriso), and Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (PPDS) within our
SAP S/4HANA
ecosystem. This role drives the functional design and system integration that connects planning and scheduling to manufacturing execution, ensuring accurate data flow, optimized production schedules, and seamless shop floor operations. The successful candidate will apply strong SAP functional expertise and integration knowledge to align MRP, PPDS, and SFI/MES processes across production operations. They will partner closely with business process owners, developers, and system architects to design, configure, and implement solutions that improve visibility, scheduling accuracy, and operational efficiency. This position can be based at any Lockheed Martin location or performed fully remotely.
Responsibilities:
Analyze and design integrated planning and shop floor processes across MRP, PPDS, and SFI (Apriso / MES) to support production operations. Lead and coordinate functional design sessions connecting planning and scheduling logic with manufacturing execution transactions. Configure and test S/4HANA PPDS, MRP, and SFI interfaces to ensure synchronization of orders, materials, and production confirmations. Define and maintain scheduling strategies, sequencing rules, and data consistency standards across production systems. Author functional specifications for enhancements, integrations, and process automation supporting dynamic scheduling and execution. Collaborate with ABAP developers and MES technical teams to ensure standardized, scalable integrations between SAP and manufacturing systems. Support data validation, integration testing, and production readiness activities for MRP, PPDS, and SFI deployments. Develop documentation, testing procedures, and training materials for production planning and execution processes. Identify and recommend process improvements and SAP innovations to increase scheduling accuracy, material availability, and throughput. Utilize Jira and SAP Focused Build to manage requirements, design documentation, and testing workflows. #

Experience designing and supporting integrated production planning, scheduling, and execution processes in a manufacturing environment Experience authoring functional specifications based on business requirements and translating them into technical design deliverables Experience collaborating with ABAP and MES developers to design and standardize integrated functional solutions Strong understanding of production order management, routing, and scheduling logic within SAP PPDS and S/4HANA Ability to analyze planning data, identify process gaps, and facilitate data-driven decisions that improve production flow Experience supporting end-to-end system implementation including requirements gathering, blueprinting, development, testing, and go-live Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills involving integration of multiple IT systems Strong communication and facilitation skills with the ability to translate between technical and functional audiences U.S. Citizenship required, as this role supports systems related to national defense

Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $81,600 - $143,865. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
