Job Description

Senior Business Analyst (Supply Chain / ERP) Hybrid - Springfield, MA (Onsite 3 days/week) | Contract (12+ months, strong extension potential) Lead enterprise ERP, supply chain, warehouse, and system integration initiatives across business and IT teams. Our longtime client, an Employer of Choice in New England, is seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Senior Business Analyst to partner with business and technology leaders to lead complex initiatives, translating business needs into scalable technology solutions. This role drives requirements definition, influences solution design, and ensures successful delivery aligned to company objectives. A candidate with Food/Grocery/Retail/Warehouse or Supply Chain experience is highly desired. The position reports to their office in Springfield MA a minimum of 3 days per week. To be clear, this is a contract arrangement starting with a 6-12 month duration, with possibility of extensions thereafter. They are open to converting someone to permanent employment if the candidate is the right long-term fit too. Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end requirements discovery for complex, cross-functional initiatives, working with executive stakeholders, business leaders, and technical teams. Own the development of comprehensive business and functional documentation, including BRDs, process flows, functional and non?functional requirements. Partner closely with software development, PMO, and vendor partners to ensure solutions are feasible, scalable, and aligned to business strategy. Lead change management efforts, including defining UAT strategy, acceptance criteria, and user adoption planning. Maintain a high level of confidentiality while working on sensitive systems, data, and initiatives. Domain & Technical Experience (Highly Desired) Deep understanding of supply chain and warehouse operations , including inventory management, replenishment, fulfillment, and logistics workflows. Hands?on experience with Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) transactions and partner integrations. Experience working with Master Data Management (MDM) concepts, data quality, and data governance. Proven experience supporting or leading ERP implementations, including business process transformation, requirements ownership, data conversion, integration coordination, and post?implementation stabilization. Proven experience supporting system integrations across internal platforms, vendors, and external partners. Tools & Skills Advanced proficiency with business analysis and documentation tools (Microsoft Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Excellent facilitation, presentation, and executive-level communication skills. Proven ability to manage multiple complex initiatives with competing priorities. Ability to influence without authority and build consensus across diverse stakeholder groups. Qualifications 6+ years of progressive experience as a Business Analyst or in a related role, with demonstrated experience leading complex initiatives. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience working in highly collaborative, cross?functional environments. What Success Looks Like Business and technical teams share a clear, aligned understanding of scope, priorities, and expected outcomes. Requirements are complete, well-structured, and enable efficient, high-quality solution delivery. Solutions are successfully adopted with minimal post-implementation issues.
