Job Description
Enterprise Integration & PMO AnalystKarman Space & Defense is a leader in the rapid design, development, and production of critical, next-generation system solutions that align with the U.S. Department of War and its allies core mission priorities, and meet the accelerating demand for access to space. Building on nearly 50 years of success, we deliver Payload & Protection Systems, Aero/Hydrodynamic Interstage Systems, and Propulsion & Launch Systems to more than 80 prime contractors supporting over 130 space and defense programs.
This role converts acquisitions and enterprise initiatives into clear, repeatable integration plans, decision-ready reporting, and measurable business outcomes. You will support portfolio governance, M\&A and site integration, enterprise transformation, and cross-functional readiness. Working closely with business, technology, and site leaders, you will maintain integrated plans, track decisions and risks, coordinate stakeholder alignment, and improve execution discipline across the enterprise.
ResponsibilitiesMaintains an enterprise portfolio view across business transformation, M\&A integration, business systems, cybersecurity, infrastructure, artificial intelligence (AI), compliance, and site initiatives.
Documents initiative purpose, ownership, intended outcomes, milestones, dependencies, risks, controls, resourcing, and benefit assumptions.
Supports prioritization based on strategic alignment, business value, customer impact, operational needs, compliance risk, capacity, and sequencing.
Maintains integrated acquisition and site-readiness plans, decision logs, RAID logs, dependency maps, readiness checklists, and executive summaries as the enterprise source of truth.
Coordinates cross-functional execution across Finance, HR, Legal, Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Development, Cybersecurity, Business Systems, Infrastructure, AI and Data, site leadership, vendors, and advisors.
Applies practical Project Management Office (PMO) standards including charters, integrated plans, governance gates, readiness criteria, documentation, and closure reviews.
Leads selected lower-risk projects or workstreams and escalates material risks, scope changes, dependencies, and decisions in a timely manner.
Prepares concise, executive-ready portfolio reporting that highlights progress, milestone performance, dependencies, trade-offs, and decisions required.
Supports process readiness through interviews, workshops, current- and future-state documentation, gap analysis, and cross-functional alignment.
Maintains templates, dashboards, repositories, version control, and practical tools that improve PMO efficiency and support repeatable integration execution.
Required QualificationsBachelors degree in business, information technology, engineering, operations, finance, or a related field; an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
Three or more years of experience in project or program coordination, PMO support, business analysis, continuous improvement, transformation, operations integration, business systems, change management, or a related discipline.
Experience supporting cross-functional initiatives involving business stakeholders, technology teams, vendors, site teams, and leadership.
Experience maintaining project plans, milestone trackers, RAID logs, decision registers, action logs, readiness checklists, dashboards, status reports, or executive summaries.
Strong capability with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Teams, and SharePoint, including the ability to translate incomplete or conflicting inputs into clear, decision-oriented materials.
Strong analytical, organizational, facilitation, documentation, and problemsolving skills with the judgment to influence without authority and escalate issues appropriately.
Preferred QualificationsExperience in aerospace, defense, manufacturing, engineering, or another regulated multi-site environment.
Experience supporting M\&A or site integration, enterprise transformation, entity restructuring, enterprise resource planning (ERP) or business-systems programs, or an enterprise PMO.Exposure to Epicor or another enterprise platform such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Infor, or NetSuite.
Experience with process mapping, Lean, continuous improvement, change readiness, training, or user adoption.
Familiarity with Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, Jira, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, Planview, Power BI, workflow automation, or approved AI-assisted tools within applicable security and data-handling requirements.
Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), Project Management Professional (PMP), Lean Six Sigma, Prosci, Agile, business-analysis, or a related certification.
