DESCRIPTION
Amazon Leo is Amazon's low Earth orbit satellite network. Our mission is to deliver fast, reliable internet connectivity to customers beyond the reach of existing networks. From individual households to schools, hospitals, businesses, and government agencies, Amazon Leo will serve people and organizations operating in locations without reliable connectivity. Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum. Key job responsibilities Design, develop, and support BI solutions that turn operational data into actionable insights for Senior Leadership and Production Managers across OISL programs. Assemble large, complex datasets that meet functional business and operations requirements across supply line, rework, and manufacturing domains. Work with analysts, production managers, and subject matter experts to design and develop data models and reports spanning operational business domains. Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements — automating manual reporting workflows, optimizing data delivery pipelines, and re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability. Build and maintain the data infrastructure required to support diverse operational business domains and the growing analytical needs of the LEO OISL organization. Develop and maintain dashboards and self-service reporting tools that enable operations teams to monitor KPIs, flag anomalies, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Translate ambiguous business questions into structured analytical frameworks and scalable data solutions. About the team Amazon Leo OISL Team is seeking a Business Intelligence Engineer who is data-driven, uncompromisingly detail-oriented, and passionate about transforming complex operational data into actionable insights.
