We are seeking a Senior Oracle EBS R12 Finance Functional Consultant with extensive experience in Oracle EBS R12 Financials, Oracle Projects, and Vertex Tax Integration. The consultant will provide functional leadership and production support across core Finance modules, support business-critical financial processes, troubleshoot integrations, and drive enhancements and implementation activities. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Oracle EBS R12 Finance, including General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Oracle Projects, financial accounting, tax integration, reconciliations, reporting, and financial close processes. The role requires a combination of functional finance knowledge and technical understanding of Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, interfaces, APIs, and integrations.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and support Oracle EBS R12 Financial modules, including General Ledger and Accounts Receivable. Support Oracle Projects, including Project Accounting, Project Costing, and Project Billing. Manage and support Vertex Tax Integration with Oracle EBS R12. Ensure accurate tax determination and compliance across applicable financial transactions. Gather and analyze business requirements from Finance, Accounting, Tax, and other stakeholders. Conduct fit-gap analysis and recommend appropriate Oracle Finance solutions. Design and optimize financial processes and Oracle EBS solutions. Lead production support, defect resolution, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis. Support enhancements, upgrades, transformation initiatives, and implementation activities. Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close processes. Perform financial reconciliations and support reporting requirements. Prepare functional specifications and coordinate with technical development teams. Support Functional Testing, System Integration Testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Analyze technical issues, review application and database logs, and coordinate resolution with development teams. Support Oracle EBS interfaces, APIs, and Open Interfaces. Troubleshoot integrations between Oracle EBS and external applications. Support deployment, release management, and change control activities. Provide functional guidance and knowledge transfer to support teams. Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, Tax, IT, and business stakeholders to deliver business-critical solutions.

Required Qualifications:

12-15 years of Oracle EBS R12 Finance experience. Extensive expertise in Oracle EBS R12 Financials. Strong experience with General Ledger (GL) and Accounts Receivable (AR). Strong Oracle Projects experience, including Project Accounting, Project Costing, and Project Billing. Hands-on experience with Vertex Tax Integration. Experience supporting tax determination and financial tax compliance processes. Strong understanding of financial controls, reconciliations, reporting, and financial close processes. At least 2-3 full lifecycle Oracle Finance implementations. Proven experience across Oracle EBS support, enhancements, upgrades, and transformation projects. Strong Oracle SQL and PL/SQL knowledge. Experience with Oracle EBS Interfaces, APIs, and Open Interfaces. Experience troubleshooting integrations between Oracle EBS and external applications. Ability to analyze technical issues, review logs, and work effectively with development teams. Experience with deployment, release management, and change control processes. Strong business requirements gathering and fit-gap analysis experience. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience leading multiple Oracle EBS R12 implementations, upgrades, or support engagements. Oracle certification. CPA, CMA, or CA certification. Strong experience working with Finance, Accounting, and Tax stakeholders. Experience with complex Oracle EBS transformation initiatives. Experience providing functional leadership and mentoring to support teams.
