Engineering Tech Assistant

Our client, located in Baldwin, is seeking an Engineering Tech for the following position. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Creates, updates, and maintains part numbers, bills of materials (BoMs), and routings to reflect design changes or newly designed product. Interprets and validates order requirements when creating new BoMs and routings to ensure all order requirements are met and/or coordinated. Builds and maintains models to calculate standard labor rates Performs time studies Processes engineering changes Changes BoMs and routings to maintain accurate production capacity & loading, inventory levels, and lead times, and standard costs Leads or assists in development and implementation of documented process enhancements to improve accuracy of BoMs and routings including leading or participating in teams to accomplish goals Works cross-functionally to improve BoM and routing accuracy Develop and maintain positive work relationships with all business partner Minimum Qualifications Associates degree in Business or Technical related field or 2+ data entry/admin experience Detail-oriented with strong analytical and decision-making ability Able to work independently and ensure tasks are completed with limited supervision Experience reading engineering drawings and working with an engineering/design team Familiarity with MRP or ERP systems Proficient with MS (Microsoft) Access, Outlook, MS Word, and MS Excel This is a temporary to hire position, $25 1st shift, M-F, 7-3 or 8-4 Hudson Staffing offers Medical, Dental, Vision and Life Insurance as well as Weekly Paychecks.
