$50.00 / Hour Job Overview We are seeking a motivated Entry-Level SAP Developer to join our growing technology team. This role is designed for a recent computer science or engineering graduate eager to build foundational expertise in modern SAP technologies, including the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP) , SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP) , and UI5/Fiori development . If you have a strong foundation in computer science, solid Python programming skills , and a desire to learn enterprise-grade cloud development under the direct mentorship of senior architects, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities RAP & OData Development:

Assist in building, testing, and maintaining OData services using the

ABAP RAP

framework under senior guidance. UI5/

Fiori Applications:

Learn and contribute to SAP UI5/Fiori development within SAP Business Application Studio, starting with Smart Controls and UI annotations.

Security & Integration:

Shadow architecture discussions on App Router configurations, XSUAA authentication setup, and Cloud Connector connectivity tasks.

Domain Learning:

Participate in functional walkthroughs across core SAP modules—including MM/EWM (Inventory), PP/QM (Production/Quality), and EAM (Asset Management)—to build robust business domain knowledge.

Automation & Python Scripting:

Write Python scripts and utilities to support integration testing, data processing, and workflow automation alongside the SAP stack.

Continuous Learning:

Complete structured onboarding and certification paths covering SAP BTP, RAP, and UI5 fundamentals.

Required Qualifications Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering field (recent graduates or candidates with 0-2 years of experience welcome).

Core Technical Skills:

Mandatory working proficiency in Python (core concepts, scripting, and basic OOP).

Foundational Knowledge:

Understanding of OOP principles and basic exposure to ABAP or enterprise systems through coursework, internships, or academic projects.

Web Tech Basics:

Familiarity with web fundamentals (HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and REST/OData concepts) is a strong plus.

Soft Skills:

Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude toward learning in a fast-paced mentorship environment. Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration. Nice-to-Have (Bonus Points) Academic or project exposure to SAP BTP, Fiori, or cloud-native application development. Pre-existing SAP certifications completed during studies. Familiarity with Python libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Requests, FastAPI/Flask, or PyTest. Exposure to AI agent development or frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen, or MCP-based agent tooling) via hackathons or personal projects.
