Job Description
Description Senior-level BI Developer focused on building and optimizing enterprise data and analytics solutions in a modern cloud environment. This role partners closely with business stakeholders to turn complex data into actionable insights, leveraging Power BI, Azure, and modern data platforms to drive better decision-making at scale. What You'll Do + Design and build enterprise BI and analytics solutions using Azure (Synapse, SQL DB, Data Lake, Fabric) + Develop dashboards, reports, and data visualizations in Power BI + Manage Power BI Service (workspaces, security, pipelines, governance) + Translate business needs into scalable data models and reporting solutions + Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines (ADF, Fabric Dataflows, Informatica or similar) + Implement data governance, security (RLS), and data quality standards + Partner with stakeholders to define KPIs and deliver actionable insights + Lead BI efforts, support team members, and drive best practices + Optimize performance, scalability, and reliability of BI platforms Requirements Core Skills + Power BI (DAX, Power Query, semantic models, service admin) + Azure stack (Synapse, SQL, Data Lake, Fabric) + Strong SQL development and performance tuning + ETL/ELT tools (ADF, Informatica, Fabric, etc.) + Data warehousing, data modeling, and governance concepts + Experience with large-scale, enterprise data environments + Strong communication with both technical and business teams Nice to Have + AI/advanced analytics exposure (Copilot, predictive analytics) + Experience with ERP/CRM data + Python, Spark, or advanced analytics tools + Microsoft certifications (Power BI, Azure, Fabric) Bonus (SAP) + Experience with SAP S/4HANA, Datasphere, or SAC + Familiar with SAP data integration (CDS Views, OData, etc.) + Background in finance, supply chain, or operational reporting Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.® Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
