Power BI Modeler/Report Developer Location:

Torrance, CA (4 days/week onsite along with 1 day/week remote)

Contract Duration:

6 months with a possibility of extension Required Skills & Experience Power BI 3+ years of hands-on Power BI development experience Strong expertise in: Power BI Desktop Power BI Service Data Modeling (Star Schema, Snowflake Schema) DAX development and optimization Power Query (M Language) Report and Dashboard design Row-Level Security (RLS) Performance tuning and report optimization Deployment Pipelines Experience with large-scale enterprise BI environments Microsoft Fabric Experience working with Microsoft Fabric, including: Understand Fabric capacity management concepts Copilot & AI Experience using Microsoft Copilot within Power BI and Fabric Ability to leverage AI-assisted development capabilities to accelerate report creation, DAX generation, data exploration, and analytics solutions Understanding of responsible AI governance and security considerations Data & Technical Skills Strong SQL development skills Experience with Azure-based data solutions is preferred Familiarity with cloud architecture and data integration patterns Experience connecting Power BI/Fabric to operational and cloud-based data sources Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance best practices Soft Skills Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills Ability to gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions Self-driven and capable of working independently within a fast-paced environment Experience working in large enterprise organizations
