Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Oracle Fast Formula Developer to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Boca Raton, Florida. In this role, you will be responsible for managing, troubleshooting, and enhancing existing client-specific formulas within Oracle Cloud applications. This position requires a strong background in developing Fast Formulas from scratch and a deep understanding of U.S. payroll and billing processes, including multi-state pay rules and calculations.
Responsibilities:
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and modify existing Oracle Fast Formulas to ensure they meet business requirements.
  • Develop new Fast Formulas when gaps or additional needs are identified during the implementation process.
  • Provide expert support for formulas related to HR, Time & Labor, Payroll, Absence, Benefits, and Compensation modules.
  • Map existing formulas to business requirements and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and implement multi-state payroll rules and billing calculations.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including technical design documents (TDDs) and migration plans.
  • Utilize Oracle tools such as Value Sets, User-Defined Tables (UDTs), and Lookups to enhance formula functionality.
  • Conduct analytics reporting using Oracle tools to support business decisions.
  • Work independently to interpret and manage inherited formulas with minimal guidance.
  • Ensure availability during Eastern Time business hours to provide timely support.
