Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports that meet business needs and improve data visibility. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into effective visualizations and analytics solutions. Integrate data from diverse sources such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, Hadoop, Azure Data Lake, and cloud services like AWS and Azure. Develop and optimize ETL processes using tools like Informatica, Talend, and Shell Scripting to ensure accurate and timely data flow. Work with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Apache Hive, and Python to process large datasets efficiently. Implement RESTful APIs for seamless data exchange between systems and support model training for predictive analytics initiatives. Conduct analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights; communicate findings clearly to stakeholders for strategic decision-making. Maintain database design best practices while ensuring compliance with Agile development methodologies for rapid deployment. Support database management tasks including SQL scripting, database tuning, and performance optimization across multiple platforms like Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle. Skills Proficiency in Power BI development along with strong knowledge of visualization best practices. Extensive experience working with SQL databases such as Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle; strong SQL scripting skills are essential. Familiarity with big data ecosystems including Hadoop, Apache Hive, Spark, and related tools like Python for data analysis. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS (Amazon Web Services) and Azure Data Lake for scalable data storage solutions. Knowledge of ETL tools including Informatica, Talend, VBA automation, Bash (Unix shell), Shell Scripting for data processing workflows. Understanding of modern analytics techniques including model training, linked data integration, and RESTful API development. Ability to design efficient data warehouses supporting enterprise reporting needs; experience with database design is preferred. Strong analysis skills combined with excellent communication abilities to present complex insights clearly.
