Job Summary Position Purpose:

Designs, develops, tests and implements complex enterprise applications software including client, server and middleware. Includes designing and building complex algorithms and data structures and application performance monitoring and tuning.

Key Responsibilities Essential Functions:

Create complex software design at component level based on application architecture and detailed business requirements Develop complex algorithms and data structures Assist with translation of logical data design to physical database design Develop strategies for monitoring, preventive maintenance and disaster recovery of complex applications Serve as technical expert in one or more applications within portfolio Assure solution designs meet requirements for scalability, performance and quality per SLAs Participate in assessment and resolution of complex software defects Assist project management with development of work breakdown structures, project plans and skills required Participate in design reviews for implementation projects Conduct technical evaluations Lead review, business case development and implementation of software development tools, methodology and software development standards Understand IS Security measures and current standards, practices and technology

Additional:

Serve as liaison with suppliers for sustaining activities Assist with evaluation and recommendations regarding purchased software packages and supporting services Support management in recruiting and hiring Mentor junior staff on building and maintaining application systems

Requirements Education:

Bachelors Degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or relevant curriculum or equivalent combination. Masters offsets 1 year, PhD offsets 2 years

Experience:

8 years as IT professional with broad experience across multiple IT disciplines Must-Have

• Non-Negotiable:

  Salesforce development
• Apex, LWC, Flows, APIs
• Strong Apex and LWC skills Salesforce Revenue Cloud and/or Salesforce CPQ implementations Quote-to-Cash business process knowledge Complex pricing, product configuration, guided selling, approval processes, quote templates Experience integrating Salesforce with ERP, billing, finance, or other enterprise applications Knowledge of Salesforce DevOps
• source control, CI/CD, testing, deployment automation Ability to translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable Salesforce solutions Strong collaboration and communication with Sales, Finance, Operations, IT stakeholders

Preferred:

AI use, Mulesoft integration, Salesforce Platform Developer I/II Cert, Salesforce CPQ Specialist Cert, Experience with Salesforce Billing / Revenue Cloud Advanced / subscription models, Agile development environments

Soft Skills:

Strong communication, strong sense of urgency

Other:

Expert in one or more software dev languages, ITIL exposure desired, solid understanding of system lifecycle methodologies, tools and standards, experience working in teams, proficiency with IDE and MS Office, ability to solve problems quickly, identify automation tasks, provides technical direction for application development teams, credit check required
