Summary
Applies developed to advanced subject matter knowledge to solve common and complex business issues within established guidelines and recommends appropriate alternatives. May be considered a subject matter expert. Works on problems / projects of diverse complexity and scope which may require in depth evaluation of multiple factors. Exercises independent judgment within general to broadly defined policies and practices to identify or determine the best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives. Provides expertise related to process improvements, strategy, vision, and standards for the development and integration of a multi-cloud Salesforce implementation. Ability to handle most unique situations. May seek advice in order to make decisions on complex business issues. Frequently represents the organization to external customers/clients.
Key Responsibilities Serve as Salesforce Technical Development Expert for the Platform (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Manufacturing Cloud, B2B Commerce, CPQ).
Enforce Salesforce Development Best Practices when developing and documenting solutions.
Performs analysis of complex functional and business requirements. Performs solution design. Applies appropriate technologies and leads design of highly complex infrastructure and software solutions.
Participates in cross-functional teams; consults and collaborates with other developers to implement innovative multi-cloud solutions for complex problems.
Demonstrates technical leadership, and exerts influence outside of immediate team.
Integrates technical expertise and business understanding to create superior solutions for company and customers.
Independently implements end- user or enterprise infrastructure or services of significant complexity.
Design, prepares, and executes Unit tests; conducts code quality and code reviews.
Manage large time-sensitive work/projects maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
Consults with team members and other organizations, customer and vendors on complex issues.
Contributes to strategic direction for team.
Represents team to client/customers.
Typical Education Bachelor's Degree (B.A. or B.S.) from 4 year college or university or equivalent experience
Relevant Experience 5+ years related experience and/or training on the Salesforce Platform
Minimum 4 years developing solutions using APEX, Visualforce, SOQL, Triggers, Lightning Web Components, Experience Builder, API Integrations, Web Services, Lightning Flow
Minimum 2 years developing Salesforce Lightning mobile and web components utilizing Lightning Design System framework Minimum of 2 years leading projects and/or technical teams
Experience leading large scale and highly integrated Salesforce project/implementation
Expert understanding of Salesforce security and data models
Experience with Salesforce CI/CD DevOps and Salesforce best practices utilizing SFDX/Ant
Advanced understanding of modern software development methodologies and tools
Advanced understanding of Software Test methodologies
Good verbal and written communication skills; influencing skills and ability to work effectively in a geographically dispersed team. Demonstrated technical leadership skills
