SAP Delivery Engineer III The J.R. Simplot Company is a diverse, privately held global food and agriculture company headquartered in Boise, Idaho. We are a true farm-to-table company with an integrated portfolio including food processing and food brands, phosphate mining, fertilizer manufacturing, farming, ranching and cattle production, and other enterprises related to agriculture.

This SAP Practice at Simplot is responsible for creating solutions within the current S4/HANA landscape to support our company's dynamic global needs. Each team member will contribute to building Solutions within the vast array of SAP products to support our business objectives. We are currently looking for an innovative and driven SAP Delivery Engineer to join the existing team and contribute to all future business objectives. This role is based onsite in Boise, ID.
  • Key Responsibilities
  • + Prepares code stubs/frameworks for others and contributes code to implement defined solutions, including SAPIntegration Suite.
+ Works closely with Team Leads and Architects to support development of software and integration solutions across SAP and non‑SAP systems. + Performs analysis of complex functional and business requirements to support technical design decisions. + Designs, prepares, and executes test cases to validate integration and application functionality. + Applies appropriate SAP and integration technologies (e.g.,Integration Suite, API‑based integrations, event/messaging platforms) to support solution development. + Consults with team members and external partners/vendors to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues. + Integrates technical expertise with business understanding to support the delivery of high‑quality solutions for the company and its customers.
  • Typical Education
  • Bachelor's Degree (B.A. or B.S.) from 4 year college or university
  • Relevant Experience
  • + 3+ years of proven SAP Cloud Integration Suite development experience or equivalent hands-on implementation exposure.
+ 3+ years of experience working with
SAP APIM, SAP
Event Mesh, SAP Advanced Event Mesh or equivalent hands-on implementation exposure. + Experience with CI/CD systems such as Terraform, Azure Git Repos GitHub etc. + SAP ABAP development knowledge is preferred. + Working knowledge of Fiori / UI5 is preferred. + S/4HANA experience is preferred. + Solid understanding of various integration patterns between SAP products and non-SAP Products is preferred. + Solid understanding of building hybrid integration solutions (Cloud/On-Premise) is preferred. + Solid understanding of the development lifecycle utilization of SAP Solution Manager is preferred. + Understanding Agile methodologies is preferred. + Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills are required. + Demonstrated knowledge in applying standards, guidelines, and best practices to be used during development are required. + Proficiency in SQL and/or Groovy script, Javascript, ABAP is preferred.
