Job Description

Position Summary SD Solutions is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer to provide advanced development, configuration, integration, and technical support for the IRS IRWorks ServiceNow platform. The Senior Developer will design and implement enterprise ServiceNow solutions while supporting platform enhancements, integrations, releases, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and continuous modernization. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, configure, and maintain enterprise ServiceNow applications and workflows. Develop solutions across ITSM and other ServiceNow modules. Create and maintain Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, ACLs, and related platform components. Develop workflows and automation using Flow Designer and IntegrationHub. Design and implement
REST/SOAP API
integrations. Support
CMDB/CSDM
implementation and data-quality initiatives. Develop and maintain UI Builder experiences and ServiceNow Workspaces. Support ServiceNow upgrades, patches, releases, and regression testing. Participate in Agile sprint planning, backlog refinement, and technical design sessions. Develop technical solutions from business requirements and user stories. Troubleshoot complex production issues and perform root-cause analysis. Support performance tuning and platform optimization. Support ServiceNow security and access-control requirements. Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers. Evaluate and implement Now Assist and ServiceNow AI capabilities where appropriate. Develop technical documentation and support knowledge transfer. Required Qualifications 6+ years of hands-on ServiceNow experience. At least 2 years of Federal Government experience. Advanced ServiceNow development and configuration experience. Experience with ITSM and
CMDB/CSDM.
Experience developing enterprise integrations. Strong JavaScript and ServiceNow API experience. Experience with Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, UI Builder, and ServiceNow Workspaces. Understanding of ServiceNow security, ACLs, upgrades, testing, and performance optimization. Education Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field preferred. Required Certifications ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) - Required Preferred Certifications Applicable ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certifications, particularly in relevant IRWorks modules Key Technical Skills ServiceNow | JavaScript | Glide APIs | ITSM | CMDB | CSDM |

Current or prior IRS MBI is strongly preferred. Ideal Candidate Profile A hands-on senior ServiceNow engineer capable of independently designing complex solutions, resolving difficult production issues, mentoring junior staff, and working closely with architects and Federal stakeholders in a mission-critical environment.
