Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Salesforce Developer to develop and enhance Salesforce CRM solutions supporting crisis call workflows for a Michigan crisis line program. This role combines hands-on Salesforce development, solution design, enterprise integrations, secure application delivery, and release management. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, architects, and development teams to translate requirements into secure, scalable, high-performance Salesforce solutions while supporting development standards and the transition to Maintenance & Operations. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement Salesforce solutions and user stories supporting crisis call workflows. Collaborate with business stakeholders, end users, architects, and technical teams to define requirements and deliver solutions. Design technical solutions aligned with business needs, performance expectations, and long-term architecture. Manage Salesforce release cycles, code deployments, application updates, and technical change management. Take ownership of Salesforce environments and end-to-end technical delivery. Establish and maintain development standards, coding guidelines, and best practices. Integrate Salesforce with cloud-based and on-premises applications using standard and custom REST APIs. Design and document secure architectures covering integrations, authentication, and multiple platforms. Develop and configure Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura, Flows, and related platform features. Manage SFDX development, branching, merging, and deployments using Azure DevOps CI/CD or comparable tools. Address data migration, data quality, third-party applications, AppExchange solutions, and custom development requirements. Identify technical risks and resolve issues while maintaining security, performance, and compliance standards. Develop training plans to support the transition of solutions to Maintenance & Operations. Communicate technical concepts, decisions, and delivery updates to technical teams, business stakeholders, and executives. Required Qualifications 6+ years of Salesforce development experience, including hands-on experience with SFDX and the Salesforce Development Lifecycle. 4+ years of Salesforce platform development using Apex, Visualforce, LWC, Aura, HTML5, and JavaScript. 5+ years of experience with Service Cloud and/or Health Cloud. 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce Lightning development, including LWC. 2+ years of experience with API integrations and Single Sign-On (SSO) implementations. Experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps or similar tools for requirements tracking, CI/CD, and release management. Exposure to data migration and cloud integration projects. Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I. Salesforce Certified Administrator. Strong working knowledge of Service Cloud and Experience Cloud. Understanding of Salesforce configuration capabilities and limitations, including Flows, Process Builder, and Workflow Rules. Experience with full lifecycle Salesforce implementations. Hands-on experience integrating Salesforce with cloud and on-premises applications using REST APIs. Experience with OAuth and other authentication mechanisms for third-party integrations. Experience developing Batch Apex and/or Scheduled Apex. Strong knowledge of web technologies and services, including HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, REST, SOAP, JSON, and XML. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently, adapt to changing priorities, and deliver within deadlines.
