Job Description

The Salesforce Development Engineer plays a pivotal role in designing, developing, and optimizing Salesforce solutions that power core business processes. This person combines technical expertise with strategic thinking, ensuring the Salesforce ecosystem scales effectively and integrates seamlessly with the broader technology landscape.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Develops, customizes, and maintains Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and SOQL. Architect scalable solutions aligned with business requirements and application best practices. Leads end to end development cycles, including design, coding, testing, deployment, and documentation. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions. Integrates Salesforce with external systems using
REST/SOAP
APIs, middleware, and event driven architectures. Optimizes system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement long term improvements. Contributes to code reviews, technical standards, and engineering best practices. Stays current with Salesforce releases, features, and ecosystem tools, proactively recommending enhancements. Ability to maintain consistent and regular attendance in accordance with an established schedule. Ability to work onsite/in-office in accordance with CCS and department policies and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS
3-4+ years of hands-on development experience in languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python or similar, Salesforce languages (Apex, LWC, SOQL) preferred. Strong proficiency in object-oriented programming, modern front-end frameworks, and SQL or comparable query languages. Experience with building and consuming integrations using
REST/SOAP
APIs and working with integration patterns or middleware platforms Solid understanding of data modeling, role-based security, and application performance considerations. Proven ability to design scalable, maintainable, and high-performance solutions. Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar). Salesforce Platform Developer I & II certifications (or equivalent experience).
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
B.S. Degree preferred or directly related equivalent experience.

Pay:
$120,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
