Open Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) Developer / Consultant to join our team in New York City. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform development, campaign automation, customer journey orchestration, and CRM integrations. The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, digital marketing teams, and technical teams to deliver scalable and personalized marketing solutions. This role requires hands-on experience with Journey Builder, Automation Studio, AMPscript, SQL, APIs, and Marketing Cloud integrations. The ideal candidate should be capable of supporting end-to-end campaign management, automation workflows, personalization strategies, and customer engagement initiatives. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and implement scalable solutions using Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) Build and manage customer journeys using Journey Builder Develop and maintain automations in Automation Studio Create dynamic and responsive email templates using HTML, CSS, and AMPscript Configure and manage Data Extensions, Contact Builder, and Audience Builder Develop and deploy triggered and transactional email campaigns Perform customer segmentation using SQL queries and audience logic Integrate Salesforce Marketing Cloud with Salesforce CRM and external systems Utilize REST and SOAP APIs for integrations and data synchronization Configure Marketing Cloud Connect and support CRM synchronization activities Develop reusable campaign frameworks and templates Support campaign execution, testing, troubleshooting, and optimization Monitor automation workflows and resolve production issues Collaborate with marketing and business teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions Ensure best practices related to email deliverability, personalization, compliance, and campaign performance Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives Prepare technical documentation and deployment support materials Required Skills 8+ years of overall Salesforce experience 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience Strong expertise in: Journey Builder Automation Studio Email Studio Contact Builder Data Extensions Audience Segmentation Strong AMPscript development experience Strong SQL query writing and optimization skills Experience with SSJS (Server-Side JavaScript) Hands-on experience with HTML5, CSS3, and responsive email design Experience working with REST and SOAP APIs Experience integrating SFMC with Salesforce CRM platforms Knowledge of Marketing Cloud Connect Experience troubleshooting email deliverability and automation issues Strong understanding of customer lifecycle marketing and campaign execution Experience in Agile/Scrum development environments Preferred Skills Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer Certification Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant Certification Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist Certification Experience with: Mobile Studio Advertising Studio Interaction Studio Einstein Engagement Features Personalization Builder Experience with MuleSoft or middleware integration platforms Knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud Experience with enterprise-scale marketing automation programs Knowledge of Customer Data Platforms (CDP) Experience with analytics and campaign performance reporting
