Job Description
DescriptionAmazon Ads is looking for an experienced UX Manager to lead a team of UX Designers focused on creating world-class display advertising experiences across Amazon Owned & Operated (O&O) properties and third-party (3P) publisher surfaces. This leader will own the end-to-end design strategy for display ad formats that delight end customers, deliver measurable results for advertisers, and scale across a complex, multi-surface ecosystem. Basic Qualifications

- Own the design delivery pipeline from concept through launch
- ensuring the team ships high-quality advertising experiences on time and at the speed our customers and advertisers demand
- Establish a culture of urgency and accountability; remove blockers, streamline decision-making, and drive rapid iteration cycles to get experiences into market fast
- Partner with Engineering and Product to compress timelines, identify MVP scopes, and make smart trade-offs that balance speed with craft
- Measure and communicate the impact of shipped experiences
- CTR lifts, engagement gains, advertiser adoption
- and use those signals to inform what to build next
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of UX Designers, fostering a culture of craft excellence, experimentation, and customer obsession
- Set a high bar for design quality across the team; establish and evolve design standards, critique practices, and review processes
- Identify and pursue opportunities to innovate on ad formats, interactions, and creative tooling that differentiate Amazon's advertising offerings
- Champion AI-powered design workflows
- integrating generative AI, automation, and intelligent tooling into the team's creative process to increase efficiency, speed-to-market, and scalability
- Influence across organizational boundaries
- building consensus, driving alignment, and resolving ambiguity on complex, cross-team initiatives where speed and clarity are critical
- Establish strong relationships with partner UX teams to ensure consistency and coherence across the broader advertising experience
- Drive efficient, predictable delivery of design work; build repeatable processes that enable the team to ship fast without sacrificing quality
- Balance long-term strategic bets with near-term delivery commitments; manage the team's portfolio of work across multiple workstreams with a bias toward action
- Use data, research insights, and customer feedback to inform design decisions and measure the real-world impact of shipped experiences About the team Amazon Ads helps brands design ad experiences that delight customers and deliver meaningful results.
Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of leading design teams experience
- 6+ years of design experience
- Experience managing teams
- Experience in delivering design solutions for projects of large scope and complexity
- Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams
- Bachelor's degree or above in design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or Associate's degree or above
- Proven track record of shipping experiences on tight timelines while maintaining quality
- Experience designing and prototyping with tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, or similarPreferred Qualifications
- Experience working cross-team and synthesize feedback and input from product management, engineering, testing, and marketing
