The BI Consultant role is an incredibly exciting position in one of the fastest growing segments of AMEND. You will be working to solve real-world problems by designing cutting edge analytic solutions while surrounded by a team of world-class talent. We need someone who is a problem solver, a critical thinker, and is always wanting to go after new things—you'll never be doing the same thing twice!Job Tasks:
Build automated dashboards from scratch using Power BI and/or Tableau Perform statistical data analysis on large data sets, resulting in impactful insights and outcomes Work with a variety of clients in a variety of industries to source required data for dashboards Provide strategic input on data-driven decision-making and proper KPI's Develop net new calculations to produce required dashboard metrics/KPI's Build and maintain user documentation, architecture designs, and data flow diagrams Solve challenging problems by utilizing analytics Identify opportunities to add value to the client's organization by effective use of information management Build relationships with key stakeholders responsible for information and performance management in client's organization Lead change management efforts in client's organizationQualifications:
Two (2) years of hands-on development experience with Microsoft Business Intelligence stack utilizing a variety of BI tools Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, client-facing role where delivering solid work products to exceed high expectations is a measure of success Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills (Preferred) Experience in utilizing tools such as R, SAS, Python, etc. Strong analytic skills related to working with structured and unstructured datasets Build processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency, and workload management A successful history of manipulating, processing, and extracting value from large, disconnected datasets Ability to interface with multiple other business functions (internally and externally) Desire to build analytical competencies in others within the business Curiosity to ask questions and challenge the status quo Creativity to devise out-of-the-box solutions Ability to travel as needed to meet client requirements What's in it for you?
