Bay Area, CA (Hybrid) / Remote (Anywhere in USA) Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Senior Anaplan Model Builder to design, develop, and optimize scalable Anaplan models that support enterprise planning and decision-making processes. The role requires strong expertise in financial planning, data integration, and end-to-end model lifecycle management. Key Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain complex Anaplan models for Financial Planning, Forecasting, Budgeting, and Sales Planning. Translate business requirements into technical model designs following Anaplan best practices. Lead model architecture, ensuring scalability, performance optimization, and data integrity. Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and provide functional solutions. Implement model enhancements, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system stability. Integrate Anaplan with external systems (e.g., Data Warehouses, APIs, ETL tools). Perform model testing, validation, and deployment across environments. Mentor junior model builders and review their work for quality and adherence to standards. Maintain documentation for models, processes, and workflows. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor s/Master s degree in Computer Science, Finance, or a related field. 4+ years of experience in Anaplan model building and solution design. Anaplan Certified Solution Architect or Level 3 Model Builder certification. Strong knowledge of Anaplan architecture, modules, lists, and data hubs. Hands-on experience with Financial Planning, Workforce Planning, or Supply Chain models. Proficiency in Anaplan best practices (DISCO, PLANS, ALM). Experience with data integration tools (e.g., Informatica, MuleSoft, or APIs). Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills. Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies. Preferred Qualifications Experience with reporting and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau). Knowledge of SQL, Python, or other scripting languages. Prior experience working in enterprise-scale implementations.
