Active TS/SCI Waypoint's client is seeking a Systems Administrator (Tableau Developer) who is a data visualization expert with strong technical skills in Tableau and the ability to support enterprise-level program reporting and Release Train Management (RTM). This role ensures Tableau is leveraged as a trusted source of insight for project, program, and agency-level leadership. The Systems Administrator (Tableau Developer) will supervise and manage daily operations of Tableau, optimize system performance, and ensure accurate visualization of RTM and program status at multiple levels. The ideal candidate will combine Tableau expertise with systems administration skills to deliver clear, actionable dashboards, enforce compliance, and support leadership with accurate and timely insights. Responsibilities
  • Ensure each Tableau view is complete and compliant with policy and procedures.
  • Track corrective actions and provide notifications to Government stakeholders on delinquent items.
  • Develop Tableau products that support tracking at project, program, and NGA levels across multiple release trains and cadence schedules.
  • Provide guidance and support to RTM Teams while operating at the Management Team level.
  • Produce integrated graphics of IPA delivery schedules for leadership briefings (e.g., CIO-T PMR briefings, MSA reporting).
  • Supervise and manage daily Tableau system configuration and operation, ensuring optimized performance and resource utilization.
  • Support user access, training, and troubleshooting for Tableau systems. Required
  • Active TS/SCI clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in mathematics, computer science, information systems, or related field plus 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Proven expertise in Tableau, including integration with JIRA.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in dashboard creation and maintenance.
  • Experience developing and modifying reports/dashboards, connecting Tableau to both new and existing data sources.
  • Experience supporting the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) or NRO
  • Familiarity with SAFe Agile constructs (Solution Epics, Capabilities, Features) to align Tableau reporting with RTM processes. Desired
  • Experience with SQL, relational databases, and normalization for stronger data integration and modeling.
  • Demonstrated ability to produce integrated program schedules and visualizations for senior leadership briefings.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate across teams and support leadership decision-making.
