Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and deploy applications using SAP BTP Environment and SAP RAP (Restful ABAP Programming Model). Implement RAP behaviour definitions, CDS views, service bindings, service definitions, draft handling, and transactional processing. Build end to end OData V4 services using RAP and integrate with UI frameworks such as Fiori Elements, UI5. Develop reusable CDS artifacts, business logic, and extensibility frameworks within the BTP ecosystem. Integrate SAP BTP applications with
S/4HANA, SAP ECC, SAP
Cloud Integration (CPI), Event Mesh, Destination Service, and other BTP services. Optimize performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with SAP clean core and cloud ready coding practices. Collaborate with architects, functional consultants, and DevOps teams to design secure and scalable solutions. Prepare technical documentation, design specifications, and contribute to architecture discussions.
Required Qualifications:
Solid understanding of SAP RAP (managed and unmanaged scenarios). Proficiency in CDS Views, Annotations, Behaviours, Metadata Extensions. Experience with OData V4 services and Fiori Elements consumption. Ability to integrate BTP applications with
S/4HANA, CPI, API
Management, Event Mesh, Destination Service, and IAS/IPS. Experience with cloud-native principles, multi-tenant apps, and deployment on SAP BTP. Familiarity with Git-enabled Change and Transport System (gCTS) or ABAP Git. Strong understanding of software development life cycles and agile methodologies. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
