Pay commensurate with experience. Essential Job Responsibilities

Communicate with patients to discuss outstanding balances and payment options.
Establishing payment plans, negotiating with patients, and ensuring timely payments.
Track accounts, documenting interactions, and ensuring accurate records of payments and arrangements.
Verifying insurance information, determining patient responsibility, and working with insurance companies.
Handle inquiries, complaints, and disputes related to patient balances and billing.
Work with other departments and medical staff to address patient accounts.
Identify accounts and create bad debt placement files for vendors
Adhering to relevant regulations like the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA).

Experience:

ModMed practice management experience is a plus! High school diploma or equivalent required.

Job Type:
