Key Relationships:
Reporting directly to SVP Tax of Booking Holdings, with a dotted line into the B2B CFO. You will form a strong partnership with the B2B CFO and CEO, and you will oversee a US-based team consisting of 2 managers responsible for advisory. You will also coordinate closely with a matrixed India CoE compliance team and a global tax technology and transfer pricing teams. Key Responsibilities Operate with a highly operational mindset to support a fast-moving CEO & CFO and execute on many new business initiatives. Design and implement a robust, operational tax infrastructure. Take ownership of indirect tax strategy for the B2B platform. Oversee various direct and indirect tax advisory projects and initiatives. Align and collaborate with matrixed resources, including global transfer pricing, tax technology and CoE compliance teams based in the US, Europe, India and Thailand. Act as a heavy-hitting strategic partner who talks with the CFO on a daily basis and carries weight with VP-level executives. Deliver results directly for leadership, including CEO and CFO, with the mandate to build your own tax strategies.IDEAL EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
Extensive experience with indirect tax, particularly within platform, or e-commerce environments Proven track record of working in an international environment and in a matrix organisation Strong understanding of transfer pricing. Familiarity with the US market and its specific tax requirements Proven senior stakeholder experience, with the ability to confidently present to and influence C-Suite or C-Suite- 1 Proven track record of driving and pushing impactful initiatives forward with a strong sense of urgency.

There are a variety of job related factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required. In addition to a competitive base salary, roles are eligible to be considered for an annual bonus and equity grant. The base salary range for Connecticut and the NYC-metro area is $202,500- 247,500.
