A Chief Technology Officer manages and directs technical operations and development at the highest level. Responsible for implementing technologies within an organization that will enhance product development. Establishes an organization's technical strategy and leads all aspects of technological development. Advises other executive leaders of technologies that may improve the efficiency and effectiveness of their departments.
Responsibilities Serve as a Chief Engineer Lead a team of platform engineers to design, deploy, maintain, and secure platform infrastructure Be able to provide high-level, hands-on technical support Collaborate with people inside and outside the organization to deliver the highest standards for: Building, deploying, and securing infrastructure Provide a blend of technical expertise, project management proficiency, and leadership abilities Keeping the project on track while navigating project complexity Align it with business goals while leading a technical team to success
Qualifications Technical Skills:
Strong hands-on experience in DevOps, Virtualization, Platform, Data, and/or
Software Engineering Programming Skills:
Experience coding, programming, or scripting in Python, Java, JavaScript, and/or PorwerShell (or related)
Skilled at identifying potential risks early and developing mitigation strategies
Budget Management:
Oversee project delivery efforts and lead the project escalation process
Change Management:
Be adaptable and able to manage change requests without derailing the project
Problem-Solving:
Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues
Communication:
Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively
Collaboration:
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and lead technical initiatives
Proactive & Ownership:
Proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential issues Experience with Kubernetes cluster deployments to support large-scale AI platforms Knowledge of what it takes to deliver Datacenter as a Service Experience leading ATO efforts and the processes required to maintain security compliance Strong background in Linux and infrastructure services (DNS, DHCP, LDAP, Networking, Storage)
