job summary: Join our client's Vision Systems team and help lead the world in automotive innovation. In this hands-on R D role, you will bridge the gap between design and reality by integrating cutting-edge camera and ADAS technology into test vehicles. This role is critical for ensuring that data collection and system validation are accurate, reliable, and delivered on schedule within a fast-paced innovation environment.

Troy, Michigan job type: Contract salary: $35 - 38 per hour work hours: 8am to 5pm education: Associates responsibilities: Physically installing our sensors, cameras, and data-logging equipment into test vehiclesBuilding custom wiring harnesses and designing/assembling fixtures for ECU programming and testingReading schematics to troubleshoot, repair, and perform precision soldering on PCBs and camera unitsMaintaining engineering workstations, operating shop tools (lathes, 3D printers), and managing the Bill of Materials (BOM) for test setupsAssisting engineers with data capture, troubleshooting equipment during test drives, and documenting system architectures qualifications: Experience level: ExperiencedMinimum 3 years of experience
