The CIO ensures alignment of the technology vision with business strategy and fosters a culture of innovation across the organization. This position serves as the process owner of all activities related to information security, ensuring the availability, integrity, and confidentiality of member, business partner, employee, and business information through a comprehensive, enterprise-wide information security management program. The CIO also plays an integral role in coaching, managing, and developing IT staff. Education and/or Experience Requirements BS/BA in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or similar degree is required. Master's degree Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or similar degrees or certifications is preferred. At least 10 years of experience in leading, planning, customer service support, and maintaining technology innovation and an IT department at a medium or large size firm required. Experience in the financial industry is preferred. Comprehensive technical knowledge, networks, digital and satellite technology and computer based applications, network system experience, knowledgeable as to intranet and internet data communications. Experience in database system creation, management, and use with excellent skills as to report generation and database usages. Advanced knowledge of Fiserv software solutions (especially DNA), including data structure, server set up, and integration and communications with third party solutions. Working knowledge of Oracle and SQL databases, Atomic Job Schedule System, Nautilus ECM solution, Microsoft Windows Server, and Virtual Storage and Servers. Excellent written and oral communications skills. Cobalt Credit Union, based in Papillion, Nebraska, employs over 250 team members throughout our twenty locations.
