Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic AI Transformation Officer (AITO) to lead AI-driven consulting and business growth for our Manufacturing Business Unit. The executive will drive revenue growth by spearheading AI-led transformation programs for manufacturing clients, shaping strategic roadmaps for smart factories and intelligent supply chains, and ensuring the successful delivery of multi-million-dollar engagements. The AITO will act as a trusted advisor to manufacturing industry CXOs, translate advanced analytics and Industry 4.0 technologies into actionable solutions, and oversee the end-to-end execution of client engagements to achieve tangible improvements in efficiency, quality, and cost. This is a highly visible role combining technology thought leadership, consulting acumen, and P&L responsibility.
Key Responsibilities:
• Strategy & Roadmap:
Develop client-specific AI transformation strategies, aligning digital manufacturing initiatives (e.g., predictive maintenance, production AI, supply chain optimization) with clients' strategic goals. • Revenue & Business Growth:
Drive practice growth - identify opportunities, lead pre-sales and solution design, craft winning proposals, and secure major transformation deals. Collaborate with TCS account teams on go-to-market plans and meet revenue targets for AI-led services. • AI Program Leadership:
Oversee large-scale AI programs for clients - orchestrate cross-functional TCS teams, manage program delivery, and ensure solutions achieve promised outcomes (e.g., cost savings, efficiency gains). Implement governance and best practices to guarantee robust, ethical AI deployment. • Client Advisory & Change Management:
Serve as a trusted advisor to client executives, guiding them through AI adoption. Manage stakeholder expectations and lead change management initiatives, ensuring client teams embrace new AI-driven processes and capabilities. • Thought Leadership:
Represent TCS Manufacturing in industry forums and innovation initiatives. Stay abreast of emerging tech (AI/ML, Industry 4.0, IoT) and incubate new solutions. Contribute to thought leadership (whitepapers, case studies) to bolster TCS's brand and inform clients' strategies. • Governance & Compliance:
Establish governance frameworks for ethical AI use and data management in manufacturing. Ensure models are well-monitored, secure, and compliant with industry regulations and company policies. • Innovation & Partnership:
Stay ahead of Industry 4.0 trends, piloting new technologies (e.g., digital twins, advanced robotics) in manufacturing contexts. Forge partnerships with tech providers and research bodies to accelerate innovation. Qualifications:
• Experience:
16+ years in technology consulting or digital transformation, with significant exposure to manufacturing/industrial sector projects. Demonstrated success leading AI or advanced analytics initiatives (from ideation to scaled execution) and delivering measurable business results for clients. • Technical:
Deep knowledge of AI/ML techniques, data analytics, cloud & IoT platforms, and Industry 4.0 technologies (smart factories, digital twins, aut omation). Familiarity with manufacturing systems (ERP, MES, SCADA) and MLOps best practices for scalable deployments. • Business & Consulting:
Strong business acumen with a background in strategy consulting or digital advisory. Exceptional client engagement and communication skills with experience influencing C-suite stakeholders. Proven ability to develop business cases/ROI models and drive revenue (e.g., involvement in winning large consulting deals). • Leadership:
Outstanding program leadership abilities - orchestrating complex projects and diverse teams. Expertise in change management and fostering innovation culture. Strategic thinker with an entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for driving transformative change in manufacturing. • Success Measures:
Achievement of revenue growth targets (in AI consulting services), new deal wins and pipeline expansion; successful client outcomes (efficiency gains, cost savings, increased quality, etc.); high client satisfaction and reference ability; and development of new AI capabilities/offerings that strengthen TCS's market leadership in intelligent manufacturing. Salary Range:
$221,028- $286,116 a year #LI-MG2
