Job Description
Chief Information Officer Yonkers, New York Sarah Lawrence College (SLC) invitesapplications and nominations for the position of Chief Information Officer (CIO). Reporting to the Provost and Dean of Faculty, the CIOserves as the College's most senior Information Technology (IT) leader and is responsible for creating, managing, and directing the ITvision, strategy, and roadmap to help fulfill the mission and vision of Sarah Lawrence. The CIO is responsible for leading the College's ITstrategy, operations, and functions, including building and managing the infrastructure, technologies, cybersecurity services, and data thatenable digital transformation. The CIO directs the comprehensive design, development, installation, and operation of academic andadministrative information technology, working across all of the College's functions, and oversees data privacy and compliance while drivinginnovative solutions to enhance teaching, learning, and administration. The CIO will provide strategic leadership for the College'stechnology infrastructure; lead cybersecurity efforts; direct enterprise application development; manage and mentor the ITS team; andoversee IT budget management. Successful candidates will have 8 to 10 years of experience in IT infrastructure management, cybersecurity,and leadership, along with extensive knowledge of network architecture, cloud computing platforms, and enterprise applications. A bachelor'sdegree is required; Masters degree and further professional certification welcome. Though experience from within higher education ispreferred, candidates may come from diverse backgrounds but must have held progressively responsible leadership roles within IT at a complexorganization with multiple locations, stakeholders, and technology solutions in use.
