Digital Platform Owner (Hybrid)

Piper Companies is seeking a Director of IT Operations to join a life insurance company, through hybrid work in Frederick, MD. This role owns the success of a defined digital journey or platform, translating business strategy into measurable outcomes while partnering closely with product, technology, and business leaders to deliver cohesive, high‑value digital experiences. Responsibilities of the

Digital Platform Owner:

• Define and own the vision, roadmap, and success metrics for a digital platform or end‑to‑end customer or agent journey.
• Partner with cross‑functional stakeholders to prioritize initiatives based on business value, feasibility, and strategic alignment.
• Align multiple product teams to deliver consistent, integrated digital experiences across channels.
• Establish and monitor KPIs related to adoption, efficiency, customer experience, and business performance, using insights to guide decision‑making.

Qualifications of the

Digital Platform Owner:

• 8+ years of experience in product management, digital strategy, or business leadership roles.
• Proven experience owning business outcomes and KPIs within insurance, financial services, or similarly regulated industries.
• Strong understanding of digital transformation, customer journey design, and agile or product‑centric delivery models.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional teams and influence senior stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in business, technology, marketing, or a related field required; Master's degree preferred.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.

Compensation of the

Digital Platform Owner:

Salary Range:

$141,300 - $194,300 + 20% bonus (depending on experience)
