Job Description

job summary: Our client, a leader in the interconnect solutions is looking for debug techs to start at the end of July. Key qualifications include, 1+ years of experience in enterprise server, storage, or networking hardware repair. Understanding of server power architecture, VRM design, and high-speed signal integrity fundamentals is required. An associates degree is prefered. International Travel for 60-90 days will be required for training.

Advanced Board-Level Debugging:
Performing complex troubleshooting on multilayer server PCBAs, focusing on high-end components like CPUs, GPUs, FPGAs, and power subsystems.
Technical Diagnostics:
Utilizing schematics, layout files, and specialized tools (high-bandwidth scopes, logic analyzers) to diagnose high-speed digital and mixed-signal circuit issues.
Precision Rework & Analysis:
Executing fine-pitch BGA debugging using X-ray verification and thermal profiling, while conducting root-cause failure analysis to identify systemic trends.
Process Documentation & Optimization:
Developing standard debug guides and diagnostic flowcharts to improve repair repeatability, yield performance, and cycle times.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partnering with engineering teams to refine methodologies and mentoring junior technicians to ensure technical consistency across the team.
