Job Description

Job Description Responsibilities:
  •  
Data Discovery & Enablement:
o Search for data and supporting documentation that can be utilized in the customer's various applications. o Serve as a Data Transfer Officer moving data from the open internet to customer systems.
  •  Metadata & Cataloging o Obtain, validate and edit metadata information to keep catalog system to ensure entries are accurate and up to date. o Perform duties associated with data cataloging.
  •  Stakeholder Coordination o Build partnerships across the customer's organization to determine which datasets should be collected, stored and made available.
  •  Data Quality & Governance o Perform any needed data clean up, and reformatting of datasets for inclusion in customer's applications. o Monitor storage space allocations to inform customer when available space has reached specific thresholds.
  •  AI/Data Validation Support o Monitor the effectiveness of AI queries to data holdings to determine if such queries are accurate and valid.

  •  Previous All-Source analyst experience
  •  Experience or familiarity with general library science cataloging theory, principles and practices
  •  Experience with data conversion using various tools and applications
  •  Experience with relational database design and SQL query workflows
  •  Experience with Intelligence Community regulations for data collection and retention including the 1974 Privacy act and Congressionally mandated U.
S. persons information regulations.
