Position:
Digital Manufacturing Architect Location - Milwaukee, WI Digital Manufacturing Architect Position Summary The Digital Manufacturing Architect will serve as a strategic and technical advisor supporting Future Factory and Manufacturing Operations Management (MoM) transformation initiatives. This position will work closely with Manufacturing, Advance Manufacturing Engineers, Automation, Operations, and IT/OT teams to help define future-state capabilities, evaluate technologies, assist technically and deliver digital manufacturing programs. Key Responsibilities Generate and maintain documentation supporting Future Factory initiatives and MoM standardization initiatives. Participate in workshops, architecture reviews, and stakeholder meetings. Provide insights, recommendations, and feedback on engineering, automation, and manufacturing data requirements and architecture. Prepare executive presentations, status reports, updates, and technology recommendations. Advise and execute on Digital Twin strategies, platforms, use cases, and roadmap development. Create a playbook for the Digital Twin with Information, Technical and integration architectures Assist with defining and organizing engineering technology stack and integration landscape. Evaluate Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Warehouse Execution Systems (WES), and related technologies. Define and execute IIoT Technical architecture Support setup and execution of Proof of Concepts (PoCs) for new manufacturing solutions and emerging technologies. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Automation, Computer Science, or related field. 10+ years of experience in manufacturing systems, automation, digital manufacturing, or solution architecture. Strong knowledge of MES/MoM, Industry 4.0, manufacturing data architectures, and system integrations. Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Digital Twin platforms, PLM, MES, SCADA, Industrial IoT, and cloud technologies. Knowledge of ISA-95, Unified Namespace (UNS), Manufacturing Data Platforms, and smart manufacturing architectures. Experience supporting global manufacturing transformation programs.
