W2 Contract with Opportunity for Direct Hire Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Machine Programmer II to develop and optimize NC programs for CNC mills, lathes, VTLs, and multi-axis machining centers supporting the production of high-precision aerospace components. This role is responsible for translating engineering designs into efficient machining processes, creating setup documentation, and ensuring first-article success on tight-tolerance hardware. The ideal candidate has strong experience with Siemens NX programming, machining strategy development, GD&T interpretation, and programming for complex metal components manufactured from materials such as Inconel, stainless steel, and aluminum alloys. Responsibilities Create and modify NC programs for CNC mills, lathes, VTLs, and multi-axis machining centers Develop machining strategies that meet engineering and manufacturing requirements Create, maintain, and revise setup sheets and machining documentation Collaborate with engineers, manufacturing engineers, and machinists to improve manufacturability and production efficiency Design and implement custom tooling and fixturing solutions Provide Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA) feedback Support continuous improvement initiatives for machining processes and workflow efficiency Perform product acceptance activities in accordance with company standards Maintain configuration control of manufacturing files and job documentation Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures in a manufacturing environment Required Qualifications Minimum 4 years of NC programming experience Proficiency with Siemens NX (Unigraphics) Experience with Vericut or equivalent program verification software Strong blueprint reading skills and understanding of GD&T (ASME Y14.5) Experience developing machining strategies for complex components Experience creating and managing setup sheets Knowledge of cutter selection, feeds and speeds, and custom cutter design Experience machining Inconel, stainless steel, and aluminum alloys Experience designing tooling and fixtures Familiarity with DFMA principles Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficient with computers and precision measuring tools Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines Strong teamwork and collaboration skills Preferred Qualifications Mastercam 2017 or newer Previous CNC machining experience Experience applying AI tools to CNC programming or manufacturing processes #INDPRO #LI-KW1
