Job Description

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education Require high school education. Prefer college degree, two years of college or equivalent vocational school training. Prefer certification in computer repair, network administration or network engineering. Experience Prefer experience working with health care applications, both hardware and software in a hospital environment. Physical Normal hospital environment. Occasional exposure to changes in temperature in computer room. Close eye work. Hearing within normal range for telephone. Use of calculator, bar code scanner, computer, printer, copy machine and fax machine. Some bending and reaching for filing and reports. Continuous sitting. Some physical installation of equipment. Occasional lifting/carrying/pushing pulling up to 30 pounds. Some walking about large hospital campus (including stairways). This is a safety sensitive position. JOB SUMMARY
Under the guidance of the MIS Manager and with limited supervision and broad general direction, the person in this job is responsible for assigned information systems support tasks.
