Job Description:
Position Summary:
The Robot Programmer is responsible for programming, optimizing, and supporting robotic manufacturing systems, with preference for experience in Fanuc environments. This role supports both immediate production needs and longer-term automation stability in a precision aerospace manufacturing setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, modify, test, and optimize robot programs for manufacturing applications; support commissioning, debugging, and troubleshooting of robotic cells and automated processes; improve cycle time, path accuracy, repeatability, and system reliability; collaborate with manufacturing, maintenance, and engineering teams to resolve automation-related issues; support production ramp-up and operational demand peaks while contributing to long-term automation capability.
Required Qualifications:
Experience programming industrial robots, preferably Fanuc; strong understanding of robotic systems, manufacturing process integration, and troubleshooting; ability to support both programming and operational validation activities; experience in production-driven automation environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
Aerospace or precision manufacturing automation experience; willingness and ability to support on-site testing, prove-out, and validation activities; interest in long-term role continuity where business need exists. Work Arrangement /
Engagement Notes:
On-site presence is required for equipment testing, troubleshooting, and production support. This role may be considered strategically important for longer-term continuity.
