Configures, tests, and commissions enterprise access control and video management systems to ensure optimal performance. Serves as a subject matter expert on data networks, computer systems, and security applications, providing guidance and support. Performs configurations and integrations for both new and existing systems to meet operational requirements. Conducts commissioning and final testing of new systems to ensure compliance and functionality. Provides product training to customers and employees, enhancing user adoption and system proficiency.

Your Success Qualifications:

High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems preferred. 3 to 15 years of experience working with information technology systems and solutions. Knowledge of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, subnetting, VLANs, routing, PoE, and wireless. Experience configuring, testing, and commissioning enterprise access control and video management systems. Power-user experience with Windows Server, desktop environments, and Microsoft Excel. Working knowledge of relational databases, including writing intermediate SQL queries and performing database backups/restores. Experience integrating systems at the application level. Current certification and hands-on experience in one or more of the following core applications: Genetec, Lenel, Software House, Milestone, Commend, Asterisk.

Certifications:

CCNA Routing and Switching, CompTIA Net+, Security+, A+ Knowledge of digital video technology. Experience with SIP telephony.

Programming and scripting skills:

PowerShell, SQL, Python. Familiarity with Linux. Understanding of AC/DC theory.
