Baron Manufacturing is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Millwork Machine Operator/Programmer to join our team. This role is responsible for operating, troubleshooting, and programming woodworking machinery (including but not limited to: Beam Saws, CNC Machines, & Edge Banders). The ideal candidate should have strong mechanical and electrical knowledge, hands-on experience with these machines, and proactive approach to minimize downtime and ensure production efficiency.

We started Baron Manufacturing in 1992 and within a few years, we grew into an in-house fabrication millwork and casework 100,000 sq. ft. facility. Our work earned us a loyal rapidly expanding customer base; which includes many prestigious properties and five-star establishments such as The Ritz-Carlton, Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, and Nassau International Airport.

Responsibilities:

Working to bring a product from idea/concept through design, prototyping, development, testing, design verification and validation, manufacturing, and product completion Assist in routine maintenance and inspections of all millwork machines such as: CNC machine, beam saws, & edge bander Be able to operate & monitor all the woodworking machines Set up machines, select and adjust cutting tools, and ensure proper machine alignment Program machines to translate designs into machine instructions Able to interpret drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished products, sequence of operations, and setup Collaborate with purchasing department to order parts and maintain inventory for spare parts Must be organized, detail-oriented, and team player Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workstation

Requirements:

3+ years of experience operating & programming CNC, Beam Saw, & Edge Bander in Millwork Industry Must be able to read and interpret technical manuals related to all millwork machinery Requires physical ability to work with shop machinery Strong mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems knowledge Excellent problem-solving abilities Strong organizational and detail-oriented documentation skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision CAM experience (Preferred) Cabinet Vision experience (Preferred) FL Driver's License and a Motor Vehicle Record that meets Baron Manufacturing's driving standards Must pass drug test Must live in the tri-county area of South Florida (miami-dade, broward, or palm beach) do not live in South Florida; We are only considering candidates who reside in the tri-county (Miami-Dade, Broward, or Palm Beach) area of South Florida.
