We are seeking an experienced Control4 Programmer who is a self-motivated professional that enjoys solving complex technical challenges, working with cutting-edge smart home systems, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
What You'll Do:
Install, configure, and commission residential & commercial automation systems Program and troubleshoot Control4 automation systems Perform advanced audio/video installations and calibrations Configure and troubleshoot residential & commercial networks Install and integrate surveillance, LED lighting, landscape lighting, motorized shade systems and other third-party products Diagnose and resolve service issues independently in the field Communicate professionally with homeowners and project stakeholders Maintain project documentation and installation standards
Minimum Job Qualifications:
1-3+ years experience in Control4 programming and system setup, Control4 certification preferred At least 3 years experience installing, calibrating, whole house audio/video, home theaters, surround sound systems Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Excellent customer service and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Clean driving record and ability to pass background screening Ability to participate in rotating on-call service schedule Ability to use hand and power tools Some travel required
Optional Job Qualifications:
3-5 years experience in security systems: wiring, setup, programming, troubleshooting, setup monitoring services (Honeywell, DSC) 3-5 years experience in CCTV systems: wiring, design, setup, troubleshooting 3-5 years experience in structure wiring: cabling, terminations, testing
