We are seeking a highly skilled Steel Fabrication Programmer and Operator to join our team. This position requires expertise in operating and programming CNC plate processing machinery, specifically Kinetic plate processors (K5000 or K5200.) The ideal candidate will have experience in plate nesting and familiarity with Kinetic PrimeCut software.

Responsibilities:

Operate and program Kinetic plate processing machines to cut, drill, and mill steel plates. Utilize plate nesting techniques to optimize material usage and minimize waste. Employ Kinetic PrimeCut software for efficient programming and operational execution. Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications to accurately fabricate components. Maintain machine efficiency by performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting operational issues. Ensure all fabricated products meet quality standards and specifications. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve processes and implement new technologies. Document processes, adjustments, and outcomes for continual improvement and compliance.

Qualifications:

Demonstrated experience in operating and programming CNC plate processing machines, specifically Kinetic plate processing equipment. Proficiency in plate nesting techniques. Experience with Kinetic PrimeCut software is highly preferred. Strong understanding of engineering blueprints and safety protocols. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
