Mountain Manufacturing is a small, ISO 13485:2016 certified precision sheet metal and CNC shop in Post Falls. We're looking for one experienced sheet metal professional who wants more than a station and a supervisor. You would run the whole sheet metal side of the business: programming, setup, production, planning, and quality. If you've spent years in bigger shops doing one piece of the process and wished you could own all of it, this is that job. Future ownership is also on the table. What you'll do Program and run our core sheet metal equipment: Amada

electric press brake Run the IPG fiber laser for parts that call for it Model parts and build flat patterns in SolidWorks Nest and program parts in

procedures, including work instructions, inspection, and production records Find better ways to make parts faster, cleaner, and more consistently Work directly with ownership on quoting input, process decisions, and the direction of the shop What you bring Several years of hands-on sheet metal fabrication experience Ability to program, set up, and operate a turret punch and press brake, with Amada experience strongly preferred Solid SolidWorks skills, especially sheet metal modeling and flat patterns STRIKER experience is a strong plus. If you've used another nesting or CAM package, we'll train you on ours Ability to read and work from engineering drawings, including tolerances and GD&T basics A habit of documenting your work, and comfort following a quality system Self-direction. You can be handed a stack of jobs and a deadline and be trusted to deliver without anyone looking over your shoulder Helpful, but we'll teach you Fiber laser operation (IPG) ISO 13485 or other quality system experience (ISO 9001, AS9100) CNC mill exposure Why this role is different Real ownership of the work. You set up how the sheet metal side runs. No layers of management. You work directly with the owners. Variety. Programming, production, planning, and quality in one role, every week. Room to grow. For the right long-term fit, we're open to discussing a future ownership path. Medical-grade standards. Build skills in a certified quality environment that most fabricators never get exposure to. Compensation Compensation is built to reflect the multiple roles this position covers. We know we're asking for a programmer, operator, planner, and quality lead in one person, and pay will reflect that. Specifics will be discussed in person, based on your experience and what you bring to the role. To apply Send your resume and a short note describing the machines and software you've programmed.
