Driver's License Full Job Description Part-Time:
20 hours per week (non-exempt)

$19.08 -$24.00 per hour depending on qualifications Reports to:
Children's Department Manager Location:
Main Library Position Description:
We're looking for an energetic, FUN, and customer-service oriented individual to act as a part-time bilingual programmer for our busy Children's Department. Duties include presenting Spanish-language programs in the library, working out-reach events, and helping Spanish-speaking patrons find answers to their questions. Assistant may also be asked to help out with school visits, or other programming.
Benefits:
Include pro-rated vacation, sick, paid holidays as well as participation in the Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund (IMRF).
Minimum Qualifications:
LTA 2-year degree or 4-year degree in a relevant field. The ability to read and write proficiently in Spanish/English. Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license. Public library experience preferred.
Hours & Work Schedule:
20 hours per week :
Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, & Fridays:
9-1;
Thursdays:
5-9; and participation in the weekend rotation.
