CNC Programmer - Design / Electrodes / Leadman •
Location:
Auburn, IN/ Onsite • Job type: Full Time/Permanent Overview We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer/Leadman to develop and program manufacturing projects while ensuring all products meet quality, safety, and production requirements. This role involves hands-on programming, machine setup, team leadership, and continuous process improvement within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Program and design all assigned projects using Mastercam to meet production and quality requirements Develop and maintain daily CNC programs to support manufacturing operations Perform machine setups, including tooling, fixtures, and first-piece validation Create and maintain setup sheets, job packets, and documentation for each project Complete and manage Corrective Reports (CR) and Corrective Action Reports (CAR) Train CNC operators and machinists on machine operation, setups, and measurement techniques Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment within the department Schedule and coordinate setup and teardown activities to meet production timelines Requisition and manage tooling, fixtures, and materials required for projects Organize and maintain tooling and equipment inventory Lead and motivate team members to improve performance and support professional development Support and drive continuous improvement initiatives Ensure compliance with
ISO 9001 / IATF 16949
standards and company policies Collaborate with management, engineering, and production teams to meet operational goals Qualifications Associate's degree, Journeyman's Card, or equivalent hands-on experience Minimum 2+ years of CNC programming and setup experience Strong proficiency in Mastercam Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Strong organizational, multitasking, and decision-making skills Excellent communication and leadership abilities Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and lead a team Work Environment Daily interaction with operations management, engineering, and production teams Fast-paced manufacturing environment focused on quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement
Pay:
$60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
