Job Summary The

CAD / CAM

Programmer designs and develops programs using computer-aided design (CAD) and computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) software. This role ensures precision, efficiency, and quality in machine cutting solutions by generating and optimizing CNC machine code. Key Responsibilities Create 2D and 3D models using CAD software based on engineering drawings and specifications Develop programs to generate toolpaths for CNC cutting machines Convert designs into machine-readable code Set up and optimize machining processes for efficiency and accuracy Simulate machining processes to detect errors or issues Collaborate with engineers, machinists, and production teams to refine designs Maintain documentation for programs, setups, and processes Ensure compliance with quality standards and safety regulations Required Skills & Qualifications Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., VersaFAB, or similar) Solid understanding of CNC machining and tooling Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints Knowledge of G-code and M-code programming Strong problem-solving and attention to detail Good communication and teamwork skills Education & Experience Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) 2+ years of experience in CAD/CAM programming or CNC machining Preferred Qualifications Experience with ANC cutting machining Certification in CNC programming or CAD/CAM tools Dexian stands at the forefront of Talent + Technology solutions with a presence spanning more than 70 locations worldwide and a team exceeding 10,000 professionals.
